The article went on to say that

searching online may be a simple form of brain exercise that might be employed to enhance cognition in older adults

That it in effect promotes the development of connections that didn’t previously exist within their brains. That’s amazingly powerful stuff – the Internet can actually rewire your brain – and if you’re online now, you’ve already experienced this!
